Election Day
This year seems to have seen more than its fair share of chaos: natural disasters, a pandemic, economic shutdowns, civil unrest—just to name a few. But despite all of that, I am grateful that I live in a country where I have the freedom to vote. When I cast my ballot today for the 2020 Presidential Election, I was able to do so because of the sacrifices paid throughout our nation’s history by those willing to take a stand for freedom, liberty, and justice. May we never forget that such freedom comes with a price. Tonight, I am grateful for what it means to be an American and I pray that our current and future generations will have that same opportunity.
